The Legal Sector is a structural subdivision of the Vileyka District Executive Committee (hereinafter – the district executive committee) and was created for the purpose of legal support of the functioning of the district executive committee and ensuring the legality of its activities.
The main tasks of the Legal Sector are:
– assistance in ensuring the rule of law in the activities of the district executive committee and its officials;
– control over compliance with legislation and international treaties to which the Republic of Belarus is a party, of draft normative legal and other legal acts developed by the district executive committee and submitted for signature to the chairman of the district executive committee;
– direct participation in the development of draft normative legal and other legal acts in accordance with the competence of the district executive committee;
– legal consulting of officials and structural subdivisions of the district executive committee on the main directions of its activities;
– keeping records of normative legal acts adopted (issued) by the district executive committee, participation in the formation in the Republic of Belarus of a unified reference data bank of legal information;
– representation of the interests of the district executive committee in courts and other state bodies on legal issues.

The Head of the Legal Sector of the Vileyka District Executive Committee provides consultations to citizens, their representatives, and representatives of legal entities on issues within the competence of the Legal Sector of the Vileyka District Executive Committee weekly on Wednesdays from 8.00 to 13.00 at the address: Vileyka, Partizanskaya St., 40, office 10.
