Bus Depot No. 5 was formed on April 1, 1979.
In November 1991, the bus depot became part of the rental association of automobile transport «Minoblavtotrans». In 2002, the bus depot received the official name «Daughter Unitary Enterprise «Bus Depot No. 5» of RUE «Minoblavtotrans».
On January 1, 2011, a reorganization was carried out in the form of transformation of RUE «Minoblavtotrans» into JSC «Minoblavtotrans» branch «Bus Depot No. 5».
Currently, the branch «Bus Depot No. 5» in Vileyka is a large modern enterprise providing various types of transport services. As of 01.01.2022, the number of employees of the enterprise was 147 people. The branch is not a legal entity and does not act on its own behalf in civil circulation.
The main activity of the branch «Bus Depot No. 5» in Vileyka is the carriage of passengers in urban, suburban, intercity traffic, carriage of passengers on hourly chartered buses upon requests from the population and legal entities, carriage of goods, as well as the provision of services for technical inspection of rolling stock at the diagnostic station, repair and maintenance of transport of legal entities and individuals, provision of a place for repair, car washing, paid parking, placement of advertising information in the bus interior.
«Bus Depot No. 5» for its production activities has buildings and structures, rolling stock of trucks and buses.
The depot operates 35 buses and 21 units of freight vehicles.
Currently, 25 routes are organized and functioning in Vileyka District, served by carriers of all forms of ownership. The total length of the route network of the district and city is 1550 km – one of the largest route networks in the republic among the regions.
The passenger terminal «Vileyka Bus Station» offers services for the sale of tickets, their reservation and advance sale.
Since January 2020, the reconstructed bus station has been put into operation.
