The following administrative procedures are provided at the Vileyka District Veterinary Station:
upon applications of citizens (according to Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 200 of 26.04.2010):
– issuance of a veterinary certificate for animals and products of animal origin;
– issuance of a veterinary passport for an animal;
– issuance of a veterinary-sanitary passport for an apiary.
in relation to business entities (according to Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus No. 548 of 24.09.2021):
– obtaining a conclusion on the compliance of a construction object being put into operation with permit and design documentation (in the field of veterinary activity when commissioning livestock facilities).
In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Belarus No. 161-Z of July 2, 2010 «On Veterinary Activity»:
«Veterinary activity is carried out on the basis of the following basic principles:
prevention of harm to the life and health of individuals, property of legal entities and individuals, including individual entrepreneurs, the environment, as well as the life and health of animals;
priority of prevention of animal diseases in the implementation of veterinary measures;
scientific validity and economic efficiency of the implementation of veterinary measures;
reliability, accessibility and openness of information on changes in the epizootic situation and on measures taken to ensure veterinary well-being;
accessibility of veterinary services;
prevention of cruelty to animals in the implementation of veterinary activity».
The main goal of the institution’s activity is the prevention and elimination of infectious and non-infectious animal diseases (including fur-bearing animals, fish, bees) at enterprises, organizations and institutions, as well as in citizens’ farms. Implementation of quality control of manufactured products to eliminate violations of the technology of cultivation, harvesting, cleaning, storage and sale of agricultural products and feed.
The main tasks of the institution are:
organization and conduct of veterinary measures aimed at ensuring livestock breeding and increasing the productivity of livestock and poultry by farms and other state agricultural enterprises;
ensuring the production of veterinary-sanitary benign products and raw materials of animal origin;
protection of the population from diseases common to humans and animals;
veterinary-sanitary, preventive, anti-epizootic, therapeutic measures (including measures for the implementation and elimination of foci of diseases transmitted from animals to humans, in farms and other enterprises, organizations and institutions, in citizens’ farms;
conducting veterinary-sanitary examinations of raw materials and products of animal and plant origin, meat during slaughter of animals, trade in meat, meat products of its processing, eggs, fish, bee products, mushrooms and other plant products, as well as supervision of the sanitary condition of trading places at markets, bazaars and fairs;
veterinary-sanitary supervision over the maintenance, cultivation, breeding of livestock, procurement, storage and processing of milk, eggs, wool, hides and other products and raw materials of animal origin, as well as over transportation by all types of transport;
import and export of animals, meat, eggs and other products, raw materials of animal origin;
implementation of operational control of produced, stored, sold products by conducting analyses;
sampling, research of feed and determination of quality during procurement;
determination of the content of nitrates, nitrates and other harmful substances in agricultural products and feed;
implementation of control of radioactive contamination of products, contamination of soils, feed, plants;
prompt issuance of control results to eliminate violations of the technology of procurement of herbaceous, grain combined feeds.

issuance of research results for conducted laboratory tests;
therapeutic and preventive services for domestic animals (surgical operations, calling a veterinarian to the site, consultation of a veterinary specialist, chipping of animals, castration of animals);
issuance of a passport for an animal;
issuance of veterinary accompanying documents within the Republic of Belarus and abroad;
issuance of veterinary accompanying documents for live cattle and products of animal origin (one must have a certificate of the presence of cattle in a personal farmstead).
